The ongoing optimization of their race car presents a continuous challenge for the BRS Motorsport Team. A significant advancement in this effort is the use of friction-optimized sealing rings from VR Dichtungen. These advanced seals provide new opportunities, particularly in the development of their planetary gearbox, a key component of their race car.
The gearbox, which must be lightweight, compact, and maintenance-friendly while fully integrated into a 10″ wheel, plays a critical role in the competition category “Endurance and Efficiency,” where performance and durability are evaluated.
